The regatta will be conducted at Woollahra Sailing Club in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Woollahra Sailing Club is home to one of the most impressive dinghy clubs in Australia. Situated overlooking picturesque Rose Bay, Members enjoy some of Sydney’s best views and come of the best dinghy sailing facilities on the Harbour. Only a short Drive from the CBD or an invigorating 15-minute ferry ride, the club’s location in both spectacular and convenient. To many, it is a gem waiting to be discovered.

The Organising Authority is the Woollahra Sailing Club Ltd in conjunction with the International Musto Skiff Class Association (IMSCA).
ENTRY FEES & REGISTRATION
Entry Fees
The entry fee for the ACO 14th MUSTO Skiff World Championship 2025 is:
- Early Entry Fee (AUD) before 01 Aug 2024 = $750
- Entry Fee (AUD) from 01 Aug until 31 Nov 2024 = $800
- Late Entry Fee (AUD) from 31 Nov 2025 = $900
Youth Discount:
Competitors who are aged 25 and under on 1st January 2025 will receive a discount of 50% on entry fees.
Included in Entry Fee:
- Access to all organised social events (1 x ticket for welcome and presentation functions.)*
- Access to all organised MSCA races over 2 – 10 January 2025.
- Access to on-shore areas for boat storage during the event.
- All event entrants will also receive an exclusive event branded t-shirt provided by class sponsor, Musto.
Entry is not accepted until payment is made in full. Refer to the latest Notice of Race before entering for the confirmed entry terms and latest entry fees and entry closing date.
* Extra social event tickets for partners and family will be made available to purchase on a first come basis. All social activities may be subject to change.

Sailing Instructions (SIs)
The sailing instructions are available on the official noticeboard of the Woollahra Sailing Club website. They will be published closer to the event date.
RACING SCHEDULE
The provisional schedule for racing is as follows, with final details to be confirmed in the Sailing Instructions:
Practice Races: 2025 Pre-Worlds / 2025 Australian National Titles
- Thursday 2nd January – Day 1 (2 races)
- Friday 3rd January – Day 2 (2 races)
Championship Races: 2025 Worlds
- Saturday 4th January – Race Day 1 of World Championship (2 races)
- Sunday 5th January – Lay day (flexible based on weather conditions)
- Monday 6th January – Race Day 2 of World Championship (3 Races)
- Tuesday 7th January – Race Day 3 of World Championship (3 races)
- Wednesday 8th January – Lay day (flexible based on weather conditions)
- Thursday 9th January – Race Day 4 of World Championship (3 races)
- Friday 10th January – Race Day 5 of World Championship (3 races) (Prize-giving)

Prize Giving Ceremonies
In addition to trophies, prizes will be provided by long-term Title Sponsor of the class, Musto, with prize giving ceremonies planned for the Pre-Worlds and the Worlds at the close of the event on Friday 10th January.
Musto will provide several prizes from their extensive range of cutting-edge performance apparel and dinghy kit, and there will be plenty of opportunities to win a prize with several categories planned for the regatta, including Overall Winners, Silver, Youth, Master, Grand Master, and Legend.*

CREW ADMIN
INSURANCE
Refer to the Notice of Race (NOR) for information on required boat insurance for all entrants. Non-Australian sailors will need to pay an additional insurance premium to obtain additional geographic coverage extending to Australia (including damage and Third party liability). Noble Marine have confirmed that their charge will be £168 (excess of £500),
In addition, we recommend that all entrants arrange suitable travel insurance.
EVENT TECHNICAL SUPPORT
The team at Ovington’s will not be on-site to provide local support for the event. As such, competitors are advised to make their own arrangements just in case spares are not available during the event dates from local suppliers. Any updates on event technical support closer to the event will be announced here and on the International Facebook page and group
BOAT ARRANGEMENTS - SHIPPING CONTAINERS (UK & EUROPE)
The international committee is currently looking at options and quotes for shipping containers for the class to get boats from the UK and Europe to the sailing club in Sydney. This option will be available to all class members in the UK and Europe.
Container loading locations will likely be at a South Coast UK location, but other locations in the UK (North) and/or continental Europe may be possible if there is sufficient demand in each location. Places will be limited and on a first come basis.

If you are unable to ship your boat and you need to borrow a boat locally in Sydney instead, try sharing a post on any of the class Facebook groups or getting in touch with local sailors that you know. Class members are always willing to help each other to ensure everyone can get involved in the event.

All travellers who are not Australian citizens need to obtain a valid visa or authority to enter Australia. This must be obtained BEFORE travelling to Australia. It is your responsibility to arrange all the required documents and visa that you need to enter Australia.

GETTING THERE - TRAVEL OPTIONS
The regatta will be conducted at Woollahra Sailing Club in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Rose Bay is well connected to the rest of Sydney by bus, and there’s a good amount of parking in the area for those with their own cars. The Eastern Suburbs Ferry Service, which connects Circular Quay to Rose Bay and Watsons Bay, is also an option. (Source: Viator.com)
If coming from the airport, it is also easy to get to the sailing club location by ferry from the City Centre. This is better than travelling by bus as you will get a good view of the harbour.
