What got you into MUSTO Skiff class?
This is like a 49-er without a skipper

What have you sailed previously?
Sabot, Flying Ant, 420, 470, 49-er, Javelin

How old , tall and heavy are you?
Born in 1985 age of 29 at the moment, height 1.85m, weight 85kg

How much training did you do in the MUSTO Skiff in the year prior to the worlds win?
I try to sail as often as I can, together with my brother Paul, and my mates Wayne and Richie

Did you do any specific training exercises to improve your boatspeed & handling?
We did loads of small laps and a big training lap around south chanel 4th, a little Island in front of the coast.

What were your rig settings (Take, tension (shroud & Lowers) spreaders (length & deflection))?
Rake: 7.255m
Shroud: 28
Lowers: 9

What did it feel like to win the Worlds?
It felt really great!! After a 4th in the first year and a 4th in Weymouth ist fantastic to win the Worlds in my own Country.

Do you have any sponsors?
Not at the moment, so please call!!

What other hobbies do you have?
I play a bit of golf when I have some time

Are you married / have any kids?
I’m married with Emily since 12 april 2014

What is your favorite band/music?
Changes every couple of months but at the moment its Alt J and Gyroscope.

What is your favorite food?
Pasta

What is your day job?
Electrician in a small company.
