ABOUT
CLASS
MEMBERSHIP

Whilst the class is fortunate to benefit from the continued support of our class sponsors, the Class Association Membership fees go a long way in supporting the running of our class – at both a national and international level.

Here, you can find out more about the MSCA Class Association Membership, including the benefits of being a member.

ABOUT MSCA MEMBERSHIP

INTERNATIONAL & NATIONAL CLASS ASSOCIATIONS

The remit of the International MUSTO Skiff Class Association (MSCA) is world wide. The National Class Associations will decide how they want to invest their local MSCA Membership fees, with many choosing to invest in local class development and training.

At present, the only regions that collect MSCA Membership fees locally are AUS, ESP, GBR, GER and SUI. Find out how to join your Class Association on our membership page here.

New members will be sent a membership pack by email upon payment of the Class Association fees and provision of a contact email address. Below are some of the key details and benefits of Class Association Membership.

  • In order to participate in our events you need to be a member and ensure that your boat complies with the Class Rules.
  • Membership runs from 1st January through to 31st December each year. If you pay after 1st October, you are all paid up to 31st December the following year.
  • The major regions collect the fees locally and in the smaller regions the membership is administered by the International Association. Please select the relevant Class Association for your region.
  • A new committee is voted for each year in the Class Survey / AGM (completed online). Only members are eligible to vote.
  • As a member, you will have a say in how the class develops.

In return for your annual class fees,  the Class Association collectively promises to try and deliver on the class constitution objectives set out by the International Class Association committee, and to afford you the benefits of class membership. For the current membership benefits, see here.

By becoming a member and/or participating in events, using our website, forum, social media, or other sites you thereby consent to use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy including use of images and interviews. You will also be bound by our Term and Conditions.
