What got you into the MUSTO Skiff class?
Great competition against good sailors. I also enjoy the boat handling challenge.

What have you sailed previously?
49ers

How old, tall and heavy are you?
Im 25,186cm and 78kg

How much training did you do in the MUSTO Skiff in the year prior to the champioship win?
I got out whenever possible, which was not quite as much as I would have liked.

Did you do any specific training exercises to improve your boatspeed & handling?
The first day out I was really slow! So I went to the tuning section of the website and sorted my rig out, I was ok after that. I did a few gybes and also some practice races with the local boys. We had 2 weekend regattas in Victoria before we went to Perth. They were very helpful. There was a lot of swimming!

What were your rig settings (Rake, tensions (shroud & lowers) spreaders (length & deflection))?
Lowers 10-15
Shrouds 28- 29

What did it feel like to lift the trophy at the prize giving?
It hurt, I was really sore from capsizing all week!

Kitesurfing

Unmarried. No kids

The black seeds

What’s your favourite food?
Ice cream

What is your day job?
I work at the Wooden Boatshop here in Sorrento Victoria.
