What got you into the MUSTO Skiff class?
I wanted to sail single handed again. I had to choose between competition (Laser), fun (Moth) and the overall package (MUSTO Skiff). I was lucky that a mate just sold me his MUSTO Skiff SUI 109
What have you sailed previously?
Optimist, 420 and 470
How old, tall and heavy are you?
32, 1,74 m and 80 kg.
How much training did you do in the MUSTO Skiff in the year prior to the win?
I moved my house to the lake 2012. Without the route I can sail whenever I have some 90minutes left in my day.
Did you do any specific training exercises to improve your boatspeed & handling?
I used the GoPro cam for the handling and invited the fastest guy in Switzerland as often as possible.
What were your rig settings (Rake, tensions (shroud & lowers) spreaders (length & deflection))?
Rake:7.28
Uppers: 28
Lowers: 10

What did it feel like to lift the trophy at the prize giving?
The two piece trophy felt apart when I try to lift it.

The company I work for buys my bills but I have to give them 42 hours a week.

Mountains, Traveling, Music
