GER Class – 2021 Event Schedule Changes

With the on-going COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic, some class events may be rescheduled or cancelled at short notice. Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions in Germany, the 2021 German circuit has been slightly delayed, and will now start in late May.

Two events have been cancelled and one event has been postponed:

  • Skifffight at Wittensee (24 – 25 Apr 2021) is cancelled
  • Skiffmania (May 1 and 2) is cancelled
  • Berlin SkiffBash (May 13 to 16) is postponed (alternative dates TBC)

All other events, at this stage, remain unchanged. This means the first event of the 2021 season for the GER class will be Alpsee Skiffweekend on 22 – 24 May 2021. However, for the latest information on local events, check with your local class representative.

Whilst some events have had to change for the start of the season, the GER Class Committee has worked hard to arrange an additional regatta for the German circuit for later in the year. Musto Skiffs can now register for Travemuender Woche 2021, which is set to be a great regatta and will happen over 23 July – 1 August 2021! This will also be the event for the 2021 German Open Nationals. Get more details and register your place here via Manage2Sail.
