The FRA Musto Skiff Class Committee has confirmed that pre-registration is now available for the France Open Skiff 2022, which will be hosted at Lac du Der over 16 to 18 April 2022.
The France Open Skiff event, which is in the Champagne region, is typically the first event of the skiff season in France. Many of the Musto Skiff sailors are already familiar with the event, which is always useful to help the skiff classes prepare for the start of their sailing season.
After the previous two France Open Skiff events had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, many are pleased to see that the registration is now open for 2022. The Easter weekend regatta offers some great competitive racing, but it is also considered to be an ideal event for skiff sailors of all levels. According to the France Open Skiff website:
“The France Open Skiff brings together competitors of all levels from all over France and neighbouring countries, mainly Benelux, England, Germany and Switzerland. From the fierce racer who will find pleasure in taking advantage of the typical lake conditions, to the beginner skiff practitioner who will evolve in a safe environment, each dinghy sailing enthusiast will find his interest in this beautiful event.”
This year’s France Open Skiff event will include three days of racing over 16 to 18 April 2022, and pre-registration and the NOR is now available. Accommodation options are also included within the NOR.
