Event: Morbihan Open – Breizhskiff Trophy 2026, hosted at Yacht Club de Carnac (YCC) on 29-30 August 2026

Over 29-30 August, Yacht Club de Carnac hosted the Morbihan Open – Breizhskiff Trophy. The annual regatta aims to promote modern dinghies and to bring together all dinghy sailing enthusiasts. This Interseries Dinghy Regatta is organised according to the FFVoile rating system, allowing both Classical Dinghies and Fast Dinghies to take part and race together in the picturesque location of Quiberon Bay.

Representing the Musto Skiff Class for France was French sailor, Alexandre Emanuel, who finished 11th overall in the Fast Dinghies class.

A look back at the Morbihan Open regatta - BreizhSkiff Trophy in Carnac!

“This weekend, the Carnac Yacht Club welcomed 35 participants for a great edition of the Morbihan Open Regatta – BreizhSkiff Trophy, divided between 18 Classic boats and 17 Fast boats.

On Saturday, Aeolus decided to make his presence felt! The conditions were too rough to allow for any races. But no matter: the day ended with a very convivial meal, true to the BreizhSkiff spirit!

Sunday was regatta time! The conditions, with winds increasing to 18-20 knots, allowed for a series of races including:

5 races for the Classics
4 races for the Veloces

Beyond the results, what will be remembered most is the great atmosphere on the water and on land, the exchanges and the pleasure of sailing and coming together around a shared passion.

Thank you to the participants, volunteers, organising team and everyone who contributed to the success of this weekend. A great regatta, just the way we like them in Carnac: sport, wind and above all, lots of friendly atmosphere!”
