Event: Sail Sandy 2025 regatta, Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC), 18 – 19 October 2025.

Over the 18th and 19th October, Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC) hosted their annual Sail Sandy 2025 regatta. Six Musto Skiffs from the Australian fleet headed to the regatta.
The first race day was sunny and blowing 6-12knots, with 4 races completed. Unfortunately, the second day was a blow out. Matty was faultless with 4 bullets. Well done Matty. The rest of the Musto’s had a mix of results, with multiple position changes on the beats and runs.
Joining Matty on the podium was Jono Neate and Wayne Bates in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. Well done to everyone who took part, and a big thanks from the class to the race officers, all the volunteers, the sponsors, and media team for the photos.
This regatta wasn’t the 2025/26 Victoria State Titles. This is being planned for March/April 2026. Event details will be shared closer to the time, but follow the Australian Class Facebook Group for the latest event updates.
