Event: Sommerregatta Walchensee 2025, hosted at Segelclub Walchensee e.V., Germany, over 19 – 20 July 2025. (+Two days of training on 17 & 18 July 2025)
Event update via the International MSCA & German MSCA
There is still time to register for a unique sailing experience on the idyllic Lake Walchensee in Germany. The Sommerregatta Walchensee 2025 (‘Walchensee Summer Regatta 2025’) will be hosted at at Segelclub Walchensee e.V. over 19 to 20 July, with two days of skiff training planned before the regatta (on 17 and 18 July).
Training Walchensee - 17th & 18th July
This year, we’ve scheduled two days of training with motorboat support in the run-up to the Sommerregatta Walchensee (‘Walchensee Summer Regatta’). The training, including dinner on Thursday and a simple breakfast option on both days, will be free for KV members. Non-KV members are welcome and can also participate for a €33 entry fee (…or simply become a KV member on-site). Eddie, Susanne, and Gilbert will alternate as coaches!
Thursday:
- Breakfast
- Training (start depending on weather conditions)
- Shared dinner (probably pasta party at the sailing club)
Friday:
- Breakfast
- Training (start depending on weather conditions)
- Shared dinner (probably in a local restaurant)

Sommerregatta Walchensee 2025 – 19th to 20th July
Sommerregatta Walchensee (Walchensee Summer Regatta) is open to Musto Skiff boats, as well as the Int. Moth, 29er, and Europe classes. There is a limit set by the sailing club for boat entries for each class. The boat limit for the Musto Skiffs is just 13 places.
As with the pre-regatta training, the weekend regatta will be hosted at Segelclub Walchensee e.V. in Germany.

The registration fee is set at €40 for Musto Skiff boats registered and paid by 6th of July 2025. After this date, the registration fee is €55 for boats registered and paid between 7th to 18th July 2025. The NOR and more details can be found on the event noticeboard on Manage2Sail here.
