1.
Cleat your mainsheet between 15-45° depending on the wind,
keeping the mainsheet held in the tiller hand. Over sheet
the kite to stabilise the boat and so the kite gybes
freely.
2. Step in and unhook, bearing away slightly to keep the
boat flat.
3. Pick up the windward kite sheet at the block.
4. Steer flat through the gybe and step across the boat,
letting go of the old kite sheet and sharply pulling the
new one.
5. Trim the kite and hook on.
6. Step out onto the rack.
Extra tips :
At stage 2 and 5 you can sit on the back of the rack and get
your nerve back after leaping waves. Also giving you
longer if you are not fluid with hooking on.
