What got you into the MPS class?
A good freind of mine Luca Devoti from Finn sailing.
Plus I fancied learning to trapeze.
What have you sailed previously?
Laser, Finn
How old, tall and heavy are you?
Born 1966, height 1.80m, weight 95kg
How much training did you do in
the MPS in the year prior to the nationals win?
Sailed most weekends and holidays and events and in
the summer Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons at
Rutland Sailing Club.
Did you do any specific training exercises to
improve your boatspeed & handling?
For speed 2 or 3 boat training with Kit and other MPS
sailors at Rutland.
Boat Handling I quite like doing very short windward
leewards to show up any weakness then focus and analyse
on one aspect to get it right making the DVD
K16 help quite alot too.
What were your rig settings (Rake,
tensions (shroud & lowers) spreaders (length &
deflection))?

What did it feel like to lift the trophy at
the prize giving?
Very good, I hate loosing, the best part is the great
weeks close racing you have just had and the memorable
windy day epic, win or swim.
