Musto Skiff Class Championships : Sept. 15th-16th, 2012

The last weekend (Sept. 15th-16th, 2012)
UYCAs organized the Austrian Class Championships and
the Regional Championships of Upper Austria of the Musto-Performance-Skiff
Class.
The international MPS-Class graded the event as European-Cup.
On saterday we had overcasted sky and threat of rain,
winds up to 10 knots rotating from S to W.
For the 3 races of the day PRO Christian Hotwagner (UYCAs)
had to send the fleet of 9 boats from AUT and GER repeatedly
on new courses.
Sunday was announced meteorological reperation. Our
famous „wind of roses“ started already at 0930.
With 15 knots (NNE) and cloudless sunny sky the participants
could sail 4 perfect races.
The Winner – and Austrian MPS-Champion as well as Regional
Champion of Upper Austria – was Moritz Zieher (UYCAs).
2nd place went to Martin Mayrhofer (UYCAs), the chair
of the Austrian MPS-Class, and 3rd was Klaus Costadedoi
(SCATT).
UYCAs is looking forward to welcome the MPS-sailors
to the MPS-Europeans from Aug, 31th to Sept. 6th, 2013
on lake Attersee.
