MUSTO SKIFF PRE-NATIONALS TRAINING

Dates 6 & 7th July (the 2 days prior to the UK nationals.)

* Halyling Island sailing Club are charging £14 a day for day membership to non Hayling members. This must be paid to the club on arrival.

MUSTO SKIFF NATIONALS COACHING

This year the class is offering a new coaching option, personal team coaching during the event. (max 20 boats)

Ian will run a coaching coaching clinic over the first 2 days of the nationals or for the full event. This would consist of:

- A pre-race briefing every day with weather forecast and how this could effect your strategy for the days racing and boat set up.

- Video of the days racing focusing on starts, mark rounding and fleet positioning. I would not be following boats during the race!

- A post-race de-brief. This would focus on what the weather did, what side of the course was favoured, how the tide or land mass affected the race course etc. Plus any other points that have been brought up throughout the day’s racing that people would like to discuss!

This is a unique offering and an opportunity to have Ian support you through the event; just like the pro's but at a far more resonable price.

The price for this would be £15 per boat per day.

About Ian

Ian is a qualified RYA Racing Coach and has experience coaching a variety of different classes including SB3, Musto Skiff, Laser and Sonata.

Ian is a top level sailor and has had coaching himself from some of the best coaches in the UK. His sailing ability and coaching experience mean Ian Turnbull Marine can offer coaching to all levels in all boats, from beginners learning the ropes in a topper to experienced high performance skiff sailors wanting to improve their racing.

Ian has had a number of top results in the Musto Skiff including 2nd at the Worlds!!!
