2010 Inaugural
Euro Cup
The continued excellent growth of our
class in Europe has reached a point where a number of
sailors have asked whether the class along with the
national representatives can organise a Euro Cup series.
So Paul and some of the driving supporters
of the concept have produced a series with overall prizes
from Musto.
As you can see there are 10 regattas nominated
for the Euro Cup from 10 countries.
The overall results will be based on sailors
taking part in a minimum of 2 events to count, and will
be posted on the website under a new Euro Cup link.
Scoring will be the high points system
to benefit those who can get good numbers to take part
at their event.
It is hoped that this series will get
a great sharing of each countries events between sailors.
As it is the first year, we can review
the whole series annually, for dates, venues scoring
etc, and it is planned to run this every year for the
future.

On the down side, unfortunately,
the Club Societe Nautique de Locmariaquer and the class
have had to cancel the intended championships on the
30th August to 4th September and it is hoped than we
can return in the future. The club, the class, and George,
who has put in a tremendous amount of work, are all
very disappointed.
