Stokes Bay Training
Day 25 April
Russ Clark and Dan Vincent will be
running the training.
Russ is fresh from training in Palma with
Sten and brings loads of experience from helping his
wife Penny to reach the 2008 Olympics.
Dan finished in the top 10 at last year's
Nationals and Worlds.
The idea is to cater for everyone, from those picking
it up this season to experienced performers who want
to find a bit extra.
With video feedback and the fortunate
coincidence of an RYA mark-laying course going on at
the same time (they will lay as many marks as we want
and as the weekend progresses they may even be in the
right place).
Anybody attending the Stokes Bay Open
Meeting is welcome to leave their boat in the compound
for the week.
Saturday...
Briefing at club... 1000 (boats should be rigged and
in sailig kit).
Morning session
Break for lunch (bring packed lunch as he kitchen won't
be open). Video debrief from morning session.
Afternoon session... until 1630 ish - video debrief
afterwards.
Sunday
Stokes Bay Club racing - feel free to join in
Cost will be £15 for training (to
cover the diesel costs) and the Stokes Bay day sailing
fee (£5 per day).
