Seldén Mast UK Youth Series

The four event Youth Championship series sponsored by Seldén Mast has finished this weekend in glorious sunshine at Whitstable Yacht Club.

The series was raced within the classes open meeting programme at the following venues Rutland, Stokes Bay, Felpham and Whitstable to find the top under 21 Musto Performance Skiff sailor.

A complete fit-out of Seldén hardware and a spinnaker with their logo were very generously donated by the company following talks with Ben McGrane earlier in the season.

It is hoped that this will become the beginning of a World Youth Championship title, to be contested at the classes ISAF World Championships.

Following very close racing in a range of conditions, Daniel Henderson from Thorpe Bay Yacht Club clinched the title from good friend and rival Tom Wright from Rutland Sailing Club.

The prizes will be awarded prior to the UK National championships starting on the 18th June.
