Don't risk losing your pins overboard - clip the elastic in correctly and you will never need worry.

Instructions:

When putting your pins in make sure the elastic goes between the wing bar and the deck eye then push the pin through. If you just push the pin through and then hook the elastic over the pin end the elastic can get get knocked off and the pin fall out - you have been warned.
