Provisional Fixtures
List 2009
In order to help you plan your busy lives
we are publishing the fixtures list for 2009. The fixtures
are at familiar clubs as well as a few new venues, I
am particularly looking forward to visiting Felpham,
Weymouth and welcoming the fleet back to my home club,
Stokes Bay. Some of the events are still to be finally
confirmed, but we will post updates to the programme
as and when they are.
Myself and John Evans, have tried to arrange
a Northern and Southern Circuit where sailors will be
able to attend roughly one quality open meeting a month.
It is always a fine balance between creating more fixtures
and diluting the size and quality of the fleets at the
open meetings. Hopefully we have got the balance right,
but if you have any views feel free to come and talk
to us or express yourself on the forum.
Finally we are still in the process of
arranging club training days. The class association
has some funds to help with the costs and a number of
qualified class coaches. If you feel your club could
host one and you have a number of sailors who would
take advantage of such an event please get in touch
to discuss how we could fit it in.
